Which addresses could change

  • The hostname and port are stable.
  • The destination addresses (chat hub, propagation node, Nomad Network node, transport instance) are derived from identity keys the node keeps backed up. They would only change if a key were lost or deliberately replaced, and we would say so here and on rns.scotmesh.net.
  • The I2P address is derived from a random key. It is backed up too, but of all the addresses it is the one most likely to change one day, so check here if it stops working.
